Presenting on an iPad?

Presenting on an iPad?  Here is a brief overview of how Slidesho can assist you.

We do all our design work on either a PC or Mac, then when the presentation is ready we set up an account with SlideShark and upload the presentation.  You will need to install the free SlideShark app on your device.

Start the app on your device, sign in with the login details we will be supply with, and the presentation will download to your device.  This means that once downloaded you don’t need access to the internet when presenting.  You can present directly off the device or via AV equipment with a HDMI cable if you are presenting to a group.

The app has a presenter mode allowing you to view slide notes on your device whilst the presentation is being shown, you can add annotations with a red pen and you can also share the presentation and then track to see whether the presentation has been viewed/ what slides were viewed and when it was viewed.

When designing a presentation that will be specifically used for one-on-one presentations we try to keep things simple (ie. not over populating the slides with small text and details) so that everything can be clearly seen on the relatively small screen of the device.
